I’m a big fan of chef Yong Bing Ngen and I’ve dined at all of his restau­rants sev­eral times, with each ex­pe­ri­ence bet­ter than the pre­vi­ous one. When Ma­jes­tic re­lo­cated to Ma­rina One this year, I went with friends for a Chi­nese New Year lo­hei lunch. The set menu was im­pres­sive and full of in­no­va­tive ideas and ro­bust flavours. But what I’m dy­ing to try are his a la carte dishes such as the dou­ble-boiled kam­pung chicken soup and black truf­fle fried rice with crab meat.
