CRAZY OVER CASTELLA
Move aside cheese tarts, the time for castella cakes is here. Headlining the craze is Taiwan’s famous Le Castella (#B1-32 Tampines 1), while Chef Pang from Antoinette (30 Penhas Road) has come up with six unique flavours using cheese and Nutella toppings in The Queen’s Castella Cake Collection. We also love Ah Mah Homemade Cake (#B2-K7 Vivo City; #01-18 Bukit Panjang Plaza) – the fluffy egg sponge cakes are a huge hit in Malaysia and you can now get them in Singapore.
