Serve this up for your weeknight family dinner
Basmati Rice With Seafood And Cheese SERVES 4 2 cups basmati rice, rinse and soak for 5 mins ¾ cup readymade tomato sauce 1 cup chicken stock ¼ cup onion, chopped ¼ cup green capsicum chilli, diced small 100 g prawns, shelled, poached 2 tbsps coriander, chopped 1½ cups cheddar cheese 1 lemon, cut into small wedges 3 tbsps oil Pinch of salt, to taste SEASONING 1 METHOD Add oil, onion and green capsicum into the Philips Induction Heating Rice Cooker HD3175/62.
Select “Rapid cook” function on the menu and cook for 5 mins.
Open the lid and add rice, chicken stock and tomato sauce. Stir the mixture and close the lid. 4
When the countdown timer reaches the last 5 mins, add in prawns, cheese and coriander.
Close the lid until time setting is complete.
Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
