Part of the appeal of supercars is their rarity; what, then, could be more rare or exclusive than a 100% American supercar from Orange County, California? At just two years old, Trion is a fledgling marque, but it’s promising big things with the Nemesis. The RR variant is predicted to do 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach 434km/h+ thanks to a huge twin-turbo-charged V8 engine producing a trouser-melting 2000hp under the rear bonnet. It’s not just for whippet-like Italian jockeys either, as Trion claims all models will fit drivers up to 193cm, and some up to 213cm… but makes no mention of maximum girth. approx US$1m($1.3m) (due 2016) / trionsupercars.com
