The Pelican is the place to go for American East Coast cuisine, right in the heart of Singapore’s CBD. For appetisers, the oldfashioned crab cakes are delightfully packed with chunks of deliciously fresh crabmeat inside a thin, crispy batter.

The snapper pie is both comforting and rich; its buttery crust is light and flaky, and redolent with the aroma of deboned snapper, asparagus, mushrooms and truffle oil. The pan-fried barramundi hits the spot as a healthy option that’s perfectly seared and drizzled with a light broth. The Pelican Burger & Lobster arrives on an impressive platter with grilled lobster in a buttery sauce and a burger that’s oozing with melted cheese and caramelised bacon. The wine list offers a decent selection featuring more than 60 labels, mostly from new world producers. Overall, the service is knowledgeable, warm and attentive.
