Its dining room is as elegant as its surrounds and is decked with flower patterns on the wall and opulent yet comfortable seats. The overall vibe puts you at ease as executive chef Lee Hiu Ngai treats you with well-executed dishes, starting with the collagen-rich and nourishing double-boiled chicken broth with fish maw, duo of scallops and flower mushroom. It’s the same with the dried ee-fu noodle, cooked with a superior stock and luxuriously topped with local baby lobster. Chef Lee’s wok-fried Australian Wagyu with black pepper sauce uses MBS 9 ribeye, so it’s utterly tender. It’s also moderately spiced, so you can still appreciate the quality of the beef. It comes with homemade rice crackers for added crunch. Attentive staff, who are more than willing to share their knowledge about the dishes ordered, enhance the experience.
