How did you first realise you wanted to do fashion?
I’ve always been fascinated by work relating to the body and enjoyed dressing dolls when I was little.
First women you looked up to and why?
My mum and my sister. I’d describe them as very strong‑minded, liberal and graceful.
First designer you worked for?
I worked as a womenswear designer for Francesco Risso at Marni in Milan. I have a wonderful memory of it, learning how to collaborate with different people and, most importantly, how to balance my work and life at a big company.
First time you realised your brand was getting attention?
I saw an uptick in buyers reaching out to us and press asking to collaborate in the last year.
Your first show—what was it like?
I first showcased and did two seasons with Fashion East at London Fashion Week in September 2018. I remember only having three weeks to prepare for it and it was incredibly intense but also very rewarding when we ended up getting a slew of positive feedback.
First celebrity you dressed?
Kylie Jenner wore the drapy, sheer tulle dress from my graduation collection for a shoot with the legendary photographer Nick Knight.
