RJ-ROMAIN JEROME TITANIC DNA DAY AND NIGHT

The Peak Selections: Timepieces - - The Brief -

RJ-Romain Jerome’s Titanic-DNA Day and Night watch of 2008 boasts two tourbillons that neatly divide the 24 hours in a day into two halves: The “Day” tourbillon spins for 12 hours to represent working life, and then the “Night” tourbillon takes over to symbolise the user’s private time. In short, it serves absolutely no purpose, other than to give its wearer food for thought. The watch costs US$300,000 – and all nine pieces sold out within 48 hours of being launched.
