Torque (Singapore) - - PLAY FARE -

Party animals who want to rub shoulders with Formula 1 drivers, celebrities and supermodels should definitely head to The Podium Lounge, the most exclusive F1 afterparty that will take place from 15 to 17 September 2017. Groove to the beat and dance the night away with tunes spun by special guest DJs such as Pixie Geldof and former Ferrari F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, who will also be co-hosting the event with Richard Gutierrez (right), host of E! News Asia. Guests will also be entertained by Grammywinning artists Macy Gray and Coolio.

Petrolheads will have lots to see, too. Apart from the new Lamborghini Aventador S on display, they can bid at this year’s charity auction, which will feature a selection of rare Formula 1 memorabilia. Tickets and VIP tables can be booked at www.podiumlounge.com/sg. Korean-cuisine fans in the west have another place to check out now that Seorae has opened an outlet in JEM. The charcoal BBQ restaurant is known for its galmaegisal (pork skirt), but you can also try dishes such as Donjjujju Kong-Bul (right), a set meal for two that includes thinly sliced pork belly, cuttlefish and crunchy bean sprouts. Mooncake fans looking for something out of the ordinary may wish to try Hilton Singapore’s latest mini snowskin mooncakes (left), which come in lychee chocolate truffle, caramel cheese, D24 durian, and black sesame with hazelnut praline flavours. The mooncakes are available from September 4 to October 4, 2017.
