FEELINGS, NOTHING MORE THAN FEELINGS
Like/dislike. Love/hate. Adore/abhor. Motoring involves a dynamic mix of motion and emotion. It’s a moving experience in more ways than one, unless the person in the car is an impersonal commuter who is strictly in transit on the road. For petrolheads, the mood of transport is as important as the mode and the mojo of the drive is as crucial as the motor that powers the machine. When you have petrol in your head, you tend to think about such things.
In this issue, three of our candid columnists share their thoughts on topics close to their hearts – a local road that will soon disappear (Edric Pan, pg 24), “bad boys” on wheels (Lynn Tan, pg 28) and the increasingly pragmatic side of a passionate driver (Jeremy Chua, pg 32). Get the feels behind the wheel with us, but let’s not be excessively emotive.
