FINDING A NICHE

Torque (Singapore) - - POSTBOX -

KAROLIS ABRAMAVICIUS Â Hi, I am writing to you because your magazine seems to be a possible niche for a guy like me. Since I am interested in cars, I am also interested in the role of a motoring journalist.

I am curious and I learn quick. I have a few years of creative-writing experience, plus decent skills in photography and audio-visual production. And, of course, I love driving.

I am currently based in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Hope to hear from Torque soon! You will find my CV attached to this letter.

Torque Karolis isn’t the first guy (and won’t be the last) to steer towards the proverbial dream job of motoring journalist by hoping to get his big break in the Torque editorial engine room. But the title’s core team of 12 writers/editors is currently firing on all cylinders, so we do not need to add a new “turbo journo”.
