TTIME travel is a con­cept that has fas­ci­nated me no end since I watched Back To The Fu­ture.

Apart from imag­in­ing sim­pler times, I’m en­am­oured with the fan­tasy of be­ing able to ac­quire all the clas­sic cars I’ve ever lusted af­ter. Af­ter all, with to­day’s money, they would be rel­a­tively af­ford­able.

My idea is to travel back to sev­eral points in time, ac­quire the cars I want and store them in a se­cure lo­ca­tion. Upon re­turn­ing to the present, my dream garage would be com­plete. At the top of my au­to­mo­bile wish list are Mercedes-Benz’s 1963 230SL “Pagoda” and 1964 300SE, which is also re­ferred to as Heck­flosse (German for “fin­tail”).

I’d also like a Jaguar XK140 and a Se­ries 1 1/2 E-Type Road­ster. Then there are
