Ooh Honey!

Wine & Dine Cookbook - - MARKETPLACE -

Harvested from the East Halkidiki forests in northern Greece, Greek Kouzina's chestnut honey is collected from the nectar of European chestnut trees. The honey is a dark mahogany hue, indicative of its intense flavour profile and rich mineral content which includes potassium, magnesium, manganese and barium. It has a low sugar content, is loaded with antioxidants and boasts natural antiseptic properties. Taste-wise, it is peppery with a mild sweetness and a slightly bitter finish. Pair with cheeses and meats or simply enjoy on toast. $38 for 500g, available on greekkouzina.com
