Expect a delicious lineup at this year’s Singapore Food Festival
Taking place from 14 to 30 July, the Singapore Food Festival (SFF) promises a delicious lineup featuring the best of local talents and heritage eats. From a heritage tour complete with a lavish tok panjang (traditional Peranakan long table) to a wine safari that pairs wine with the island’s favourite hawker food, plenty awaits lovers of local cuisine.
Not to be missed is SFF’s signature event, STREAT, which takes place at Clifford Square on 14 and 15 July (5 to 10.30pm). Chef Malcolm Lee of Candlenut will be collaborating with Wild Rocket’s Willin Low to present a three-course Mod Sin or modern Peranakan menu. There will also be nine other stalls, hand-picked to offer a unique spiWn dishes. Expect to see some familiar names like New Ubin Seafood, Whampoa Prawn Noodle as well as the Singapore culinary team that took home the gold medal from the 2016 Ika Hoga Culinary Olympics.
