Ex­pect a de­li­cious lineup at this year’s Sin­ga­pore Food Fes­ti­val

Tak­ing place from 14 to 30 July, the Sin­ga­pore Food Fes­ti­val (SFF) prom­ises a de­li­cious lineup fea­tur­ing the best of lo­cal tal­ents and her­itage eats. From a her­itage tour com­plete with a lav­ish tok pan­jang (tra­di­tional Per­anakan long ta­ble) to a wine sa­fari that pairs wine with the is­land’s favourite hawker food, plenty awaits lovers of lo­cal cui­sine.

Not to be missed is SFF’s sig­na­ture event, STREAT, which takes place at Clif­ford Square on 14 and 15 July (5 to 10.30pm). Chef Mal­colm Lee of Can­dlenut will be col­lab­o­rat­ing with Wild Rocket’s Willin Low to present a three-course Mod Sin or mod­ern Per­anakan menu. There will also be nine other stalls, hand-picked to of­fer a unique spiWn dishes. Ex­pect to see some fa­mil­iar names like New Ubin Seafood, Wham­poa Prawn Noo­dle as well as the Sin­ga­pore culi­nary team that took home the gold medal from the 2016 Ika Hoga Culi­nary Olympics.
