CHEF’S DAY OUT
European food symposium CHEFDAYS makes its German debut
On 11 and 12 September, CHEFDAYS—one of Europe’s most significant food symposia—makes its German debut in Berlin this year. Previously based in Austria, CHEFDAYS was introduced in 2014 by highly acclaimed culinary publication Rolling Pin and has become the event to beat for innovation in the German-speaking gastronomy and hotel sector, attracting over 3,000 visitors annually.
Slated to speak at CHEFDAYS Germany 2017 are some of the biggest names in the culinary world: Joan Roca from El Celler de Can Roca in Spain—third on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list; Rasmus Kofoed of Geranium, Copenhagen’s first three-Michelin-starred restaurant; Andreas Caminada from the three-Michelin-starred Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau, Switzerland; and Vladimir Mukhin from Moscow’s White Rabbit, which takes 23rd spot on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
Joining the list of speakers at this year’s CHEFDAYS, is Ryan Clift from Tippling Club in Singapore—a first for Southeast Asia. Supported by Tippling Club’s head chef Ayo Adeyemi, Clift will be presenting a cooking demonstration featuring the delectable and umamiladen A4 Toriyama wagyu. Tickets from 98€.
