Lo­cated in Pan Pa­cific Sin­ga­pore, Pa­cific Mar­ket­place brings a new line of cake creations to its coun­ter­tops—from sliced cakes and pas­tries to whole cakes. Most no­table is the pan­dan gula me­laka chif­fon cake, con­sist­ing of one of Sin­ga­pore’s most beloved flavour com­bi­na­tions. Made with freshly ex­tracted juice from pan­dan leaves and gula me­laka sourced from Malacca, the cake is fra­grant, fluffy and so tasty. For an ex­tra dose of caramel flavour, driz­zle some gula me­laka syrup from the drop­pers served along­side. If you pre­fer some­thing less sweet, try the matcha yuzu ly­chee en­tremet com­pris­ing a light ly­chee curd as the cake base and lay­ers of tart yuzu crème.
