From now till 30 Septem­ber, din­ers can in­dulge in a deca­dent surf and turf feast ($98 per adult; $49 per child) at the ho­tel’s all-day din­ing restau­rant, Sea­sonal Tastes.

Guest chef Joshua Mar­shall, the ex­ec­u­tive chef of W Taipei, will be whip­ping up scrump­tious dishes with seafood and red meat, in­spired by flavours from his home­town in south­ern Cal­i­for­nia and his sec­ond home, Taipei. Some high­lights from the spread in­clude the mini Boston lob­ster in brioche, baby back pork ribs marinated in brown sugar and Jack Daniels, and chicken and waf­fles. Tai­wanese food lovers, mean­while, can look for­ward to clas­sics such as oys­ter noo­dles, Tai­wanese beef noo­dle soup, and wok-fried beef ten­der­loin with Tai­wanese bar­be­cue sauce.

Along­side the surf and turf dishes, din­ers can also con­tinue to en­joy the lus­cious spread that Sea­sonal Tastes is known for—fresh seafood, crus­taceans and salmon sashimi, and the ‘live’ carv­ing sta­tion with a hearty se­lec­tion of roasts and prime cuts.

The ho­tel’s gas­tro­bar, Cook & Brew, will also be of­fer­ing a Surf + Turf spe­cial dur­ing the month of July. Priced at $140, the seafood and meat plat­ter com­prises a slab of pep­per-crusted USDA grain-fed New York sir­loin served with lob­sters-cented hol­landaise, a grilled king oys­ter mush­room salad and fried Nova Sco­tia lob­ster mac and cheese, and is per­fect for shar­ing among two per­sons.
