JAEGER-LECOULTRE GEOPHYSIC TRUE SECOND

World of Watches (Singapore) - - Reports - Horizon, Davidoff

Jaeger-lecoultre’s 58-year-old Geophysic may have deviated a little from its scientific roots, but it has maintained its classic allure in subsequent rereleases. The Geophysic True Second is no exception, though its no-frills design hides an interesting complication: dead seconds. Through clever engineering, such watches have second hands that tick instead of sweep, allowing the wearer to precisely read, measure or synchronise time with another timing device.
