The name Policromia originates from the Greek words poly (multiple) and khroma (colours), which best describes the strong statement of colours, shapes and surfaces that give the watch its daring silhouette and unique 3D effect. The Fendi watch was designed in collaboration with jewellery designer Delfina Delettrez Fendi, who is part of the Fendi family. For this watch, she played to the strengths of the natural elements and materials, delivering an elegant yet conceptual timepiece with a surreal twist which expresses the Fendi DNA. It recalls Palazzo Della Civilta Italiana, the Fendi headquarters in Rome, and its unique arches, while elegant ellipses create surfaces overlapping on the dial inspired by the architectural structures of the city of Rome.
