The Only Watch charity auction is where collectors and connoisseurs gather every two years for a glimpse of the world’s most rare and covetable timepieces
Only Watch, a biennial charity auction of one-off luxury timepieces donated by the finest watch manufacturers, raises funds for research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The genetic disorder affects mainly children. More than 25 million (S$40 million) have been raised since the first edition in 2005. The funds, said event founder Luc Pettavino, allow research on the condition “to reach new heights and get closer to a cure”. The seventh edition will be held on Nov 11 at Christie’s in Geneva. Organised by Association Monegasque contre les Myopathies (Monaco Association against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy), it is supported by Prince Albert II of Monaco.
