There’s a small selection of salads as well as camembert wrapped in phyllo, but if you eat meat, and a lot of it, you’ll be delighted. Find your favourite in the Mzanzi Favourites section, where you will have your pick of proteins and the classiest shisa nyama in town. If you have a sweet tooth, all of SA’s traditional faves are here, including Peppermint Crisp tart and malva pudding, as well as a selection of dessert cocktails. DRINKS The selection is wide and varied – not to mention milkshakes for the kids. SERVICE Genuinely some of the best service around. AMBIENCE From bright fabric-covered booths to the African-inspired wood panelling, Baobab manages to be both classy and welcoming. There’s an outdoor deck at the back for those good-weather days.
