UN slams Trump PM’s chal­lenge

GENEVA: US Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s claims that cer­tain me­dia or­gan­i­sa­tions and their jour­nal­ists are dis­hon­est might amount to in­cite­ment of vi­o­lence against the me­dia, UN High Com­mis­sioner for Hu­man Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hus­sein said. Last week dur­ing a rally in Ari­zona, Trump ac­cused the me­dia of be­ing “truly dis­hon­est”, “fake”, “bad” and “crooked”, as well as deep­en­ing di­vi­sions in­side the coun­try. – Sput­nik MADRID: Spain’s prime min­is­ter chal­lenged law­mak­ers to ta­ble a no con­fi­dence vote in his gov­ern­ment as he an­swered ques­tions over al­leged il­le­gal fi­nanc­ing of his con­ser­va­tive Peo­ple’s Party.
