TP Mazembe right on track to retain Confed Cup crown
THE Caf Confederation Cup semi-final line-up is a mix of the old and the new led by titleholders TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Mazembe were runners-up in 2013 before winning the secondtier African club competition for the first time last year by trouncing Mouloudia Bejaia of Algeria.
Semi-final opponents FUS Rabat of Morocco were surprise winners of the 2010 Confederation Cup and lost on away goals to Bejaia in the semifinals last season.
Club Africain of Tunisia finished runners-up in 2011, the third time they were Caf final losers, while SuperSport United of South Africa did not get further than the play-offs until this year.
