In­dia In­style Shop­ping Fes­ti­val to woo the senses

THE In­dia In­style Shop­ping Fes­ti­val is once again set to woo lovers of all things Eastern, of­fer­ing a kaleidoscope of colours, cul­tures, goods and flavours.

The fes­ti­val takes place at the Sa­hara Kingsmead Sta­dium from to­mor­row to April 16, of­fer­ing an ex­trav­a­ganza of au­then­tic In­dian life­style, fash­ion, cul­ture and cui­sine as lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional ex­hibitors dis­play their wares and de­light your senses.

It is a life­style, food and cul­tural ex­pe­ri­ence, where ex­hibitors boast the very best in in­ter­na­tional In­dian cloth­ing, cos­tume jew­ellery, silk car­pets, home­ware and more.

From in­tri­cately de­tailed and ex­quis­ite saris, per­fectly cut and styled Pun­jabi suits to the dream bri­dal gown, there’s some­thing for ev­ery­one.

Walk the lanes of In­dia, tak­ing in the sights and sounds of true In­dian fash­ions and ac­ces­sories.

Pa­trons can en­joy the IPL cricket live on a big screen, while the kids en­joy the free rides avail­able.

En­ter­tain­ment in­cludes live per­for­mances from lo­cal Dur­ban artist Keeran Esh­war­lall, Joburg­based Ryan the Il­lu­sion­ist and all the way from Ra­jasthan, In­dia, the world­ac­claimed Har­ish the Ma­gi­cian and folk dancer Isu, flash en­ter­tain­ers and many more.

And of course there is the tra­di­tional In­dian cui­sine, tan­ta­lis­ing and flavour­ful foods and treats.

The fes­ti­val is open to the pub­lic from 11am to 9pm daily and en­try costs just R10.
