The construction of Quayside is expected to start early next year, with completion and transfers scheduled for mid 2013. Big Ben, the contractors on Rabie’s Waterstone development, which was voted top residential development in SA this year by the South African Property Owners’ Association, have been appointed to construct Quayside.
Quayside will form part of a larger development that consists of three independent erven — Quays — that will provide 3 500m² of low-rise studio offices set around courtyards, and Quay North, a smaller residential complex of about 28 apartments.
Two show houses are currently under construction and will be available for viewing from early next year, while a model of the development will be on show at Rabie’s onsite sales centre from early November.
