work care.

Among the many “truck competent” companies present was Washtec, with a notably fast washing system for commercial vehicles, Diesel Technic with a comprehensive product range for trucks, buses and trailers, including a replacement parts range for the “Big 7” European commercial vehicle brands and Bosch with truck parts and diagnostic and servicing equipment.

The organisers also went out of their way to show trucks in another light with displays of racing and trials trucks. There were exhibits by teams that race highpowered trucks on road circuits in Europe, as well as trucks that take part in rally-raids (like the Dakar Rally) and truck trials, which have championships in Europe.

The Dakar Rally was represented by an 800hp Iveco Trakker of the Netherlands-based De Rooy team, which won the truck category of the 2012 Dakar Rally. Its top speed is limited to 150km/h.

Racing and rally trucks were a big feature of the exhibition, left. Suppliers from all corners of the world were present, below.
