BLSA gets new head of policy
BUSINESS Leadership South Africa (BLSA) has appointed Tebele Makhetha as its director for policy and legislation.
She will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations; policy development; engagement with key partners; and helping shape BLSA’s input in the development of important legislation.
BLSA chief executive Bonang Mohale said: “Miss Makhetha is here to keep us in line and sharpen our input into policy and legislation.”
Makhetha holds a Master’s degree in commercial law and an LLB from Wits University.
She also holds a certificate in prospecting and mining law and was admitted as an attorney in 2010.
Makhetha said she was “truly honoured” to be joining BLSA at this time in its journey.
