The Cape Winelands Film Festival (CWFF) has significantly grown in size and international participation, evolving into what is now known as the Cape Town International Film Market and Festival. Taking place at the V&A Waterfront, the festival will showcase movies from across the world, with films from over 50 countries being featured in competition.
The eighth instalment of the Knysna Literary Festival is a favourite with bookworms and lovers of all things literary. You can rub shoulders with literary giants and participate in workshops. It takes place at the Montessori Amphitheatre in Knysna and tickets cost R200.
Embrace your “Right to Fly” at the 23rd Cape Town International Kite Festival in Muizenberg. There’s free kite-making workshops for children and adults, live entertainment, rides, a children’s play area and food market. Visitors are welcome to bring along a picnic.
