4 fight for lives af­ter at­tack

BAN­GUI: The lives of four peo­ple se­verely in­jured in a grenade at­tack, which killed seven peo­ple and in­jured 20 oth­ers at a peace con­cert in the Cen­tral African Repub­lic’s (CAR) cap­i­tal Ban­gui, are hang­ing in the bal­ance.

Two peo­ple on a mo­tor­bike at­tacked rev­ellers at a Sat­ur­day con­cert to foster rec­on­cil­i­a­tion and so­cial co­he­sion by throw­ing a grenade into the crowd. Ban­gui has been the fo­cal point of vi­o­lence be­tween Mus­lims and Chris­tians.
