Highlining enthusiasts broke the world record on July 12 when a member of the Bence Kerekes Outdoor Sports team, from Hungary, walked along a 32m-long wire at a height of 5 322m above the Ladakh range of mountains in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in Northern India. The extreme sport enthusiasts balance using their arms and walk on a type of rope known as tubular nylon webbing, wearing a safety harness that is tethered to the rope.
