Springs Way to water

Cape Times - - OPINION -

I AM very much in favour of using the water in Springs Way.

The problems are traffic down a oneway street, blocking the entrance and exit to Cresswell House, and the noise of cars in and out of the street 24 hours a day.

The residents on the ground floor of Cresswell House are disturbed throughout the night. Litter is also a problem. People get boxes wet and then just dump them in the gutter.

There is a plot on the corner of Springs Way and Kildare Road.

This could be turned into a parking lot with car access to Springs Way only for permit holders.

Those wanting more than 15 litres of water will have to invest in a small trolley.

The money the council saves would pay for a guard at the entrance to Springs Way. Kevin Williams. Wynberg
