CHARNELLE ACCUSED IN COURT
NEARLY a year after her death, 10-year-old Charnelle McCrawl’s accused will make his second appearance in the Western Cape High Court today.
Carlo de Kock is accused of murdering and raping his niece Charnelle, who went missing on October 20 last year.
The case was postponed to today for outstanding reports and further investigation.
Charnelle’s body was found at a wetlands in Manenberg a day after being reported missing. She was wrapped in a plastic bag and a curtain.
A forensics report showed she suffered multiple blunt-force injuries to her head, neck and genital areas. |
