FT-AC TO SPAWN NEW COMPACT CROSSOVER
Toyota’s LA Auto Show centrepiece, the FT-AC (Future Toyota Adventure Concept) will go into production within the next two years, according to the company’s General Manager for North America. Underpinned by Toyota’s TNGA platform, first seen on the Prius, it will sit in the same bracket as the C-HR.
BMW PLANS 26-CAR M ONSLAUGHT
BMW has revealed that its M division will take the fight to the numerically superior Mercedes-amg with a raft of new models in the next two years. Among the number are the sixthgeneration M3/M4 (which will be RWD), X3, X4, Z4, as well as the X2 and X7.
PLUG-IN HYBRID 911 WILL HAPPEN
Porsche CEO, Oliver Blume, has revealed that a plug-in hybrid version of the firm’s spiritual mainstay is on the cards for 2023. Porsche is hinting at 47 Ah battery system that will allow a purely electric operating range of up to 70 km.
