A-LIST AT­TIRE Van­ity Fair has un­veiled its best-dressed list for 2014, fea­tur­ing the world’s most well-at­tired men and women. Some of the fa­mous faces who got the nod from the in­flu­en­tial magazine are (from left to right) Os­car win­ner Lupita Ny­ong’o, Harry Pot­ter alumna and ris­ing star Emma Watson, English ac­tress Michelle Dock­ery – or Lady Mary to fans of the Bri­tish drama se­ries Down­ton Abbey – smooth-as-silk ac­tor, pro­ducer and DJ Idris Elba, mul­ti­ple award-win­ning ac­tress Cate Blanchett, ac­tress and singer-song­writer Emmy Ros­sum and Amer­i­can foot­ball star Vic­tor Cruz. Oth­ers who made the list in­clude Her Royal High­ness Crown Princess Mary of Den­mark, whose dress sense is as re­gal as she is, Bri­tish ac­tor Bene­dict Cum­ber­batch, who told the magazine New York and Paris were his favourite places to shop for clothes, and singer Phar­rell Wil­liams, who may be fa­mous for his out­landish hats, but told the magazine his favourite item of cloth­ing is a ‘com­fort­able T-shirt’.
