Save your money. – Roger Young Mex­ico’s biggest­gross­ing film in his­tory. Ger­man Noble is a rich, suc­cess­ful wi­d­ower, but his chil­dren have turned out spoilt and feck­less. His el­dest son, Javi, is al­ways hatch­ing a crazy scheme to get rich quick. Noble de­cides to teach them a les­son. A wel­come change from the usual Hol­ly­wood com­edy. Gayle Ed­munds

When failed foot­ball star Ryan and strug­gling video game de­signer Justin go to a fancy dress party dressed as cops, their lives change. Ami­able watch that suc­ceeds in spite of its many flaws. – Siyabonga Sit­hole A movie that took 12 years to film. It doesn’t fall into the usual clichés as it fol­lows the jour­ney of a child grow­ing into adult­hood. This is per­haps the best com­ing-of-age film made to date. – Lloyd Gedye
