A smartphone for less than R1K

CityPress - - T# -

The R999 dual-SIM Microsoft Lumia 430, launched in South Africa this past week, has finally delivered on the promise Microsoft made when it acquired Nokia in 2013. At the time, Microsoft committed to taking the manufacturing quality of Nokia and teaming it with the tech innovation Microsoft is known for.

The new Lumia takes the tech powerhouse’s promise to the people, with premium Microsoft software housed in really decent, affordable hardware. And it looks to be a lot of phone for a reasonable price. The Lumia 430 comes with a 4-inch screen, 1.2GHz dualcore processor, 1GB of RAM, a 2-megapixel main camera, 0.3-megapixel front camera and 8GB of storage. It’s great to see more entrylevel smartphones entering the market, making better phones more accessible. – Garreth van Niekerk Visit microsoft.com for
