It was an interesting event, as we learnt about government and how it works, as well as our history. I think it should happen every year. It was very interesting, especially when we talked about the Children’s Act that protects our rights, but which also goes with our responsibilities. I enjoyed the event and the discussions we had at the children’s parliament. I would like to thank the Gauteng Provincial Legislature for giving us this opportunity. The Gauteng Provincial Legislature hosts the following sector parliaments: Youth Sector Parliament; Children’s Sector Parliament; Workers’ Sector Parliament; Older Persons’ Sector Parliament; Women’s Sector Parliament; Interfaith Sector Parliament; Sector Parliament for Commercial Sex Workers;
