Jou lekker ding!
It’s lekker down in the Western Cape. Not for all, but for some.
It’s not that lekker for Songezo Mjongile, who has lost the influential position of ANC provincial secretary. So off went Mjongile to the Durban July to have a lekker jol.
But it’s lekker for his successor, Faiez Jacobs, who is now the big induna at Sahara House, the party’s provincial headquarters. So lekker that he has appointed a new spokesperson called ... wait for it ... Pat Lekker.
But what’s not lekker for them is that the ANC in the Western Cape still has zero chance of toppling the DA, both in the city and the province.
