E-book store for local titles
Local titles are hard to come by, but publisher Penguin Random House has a way to fix this problem. There is a plan under way to provide readers with a taste for local literature with an e-book portal. E-books, which are generally more affordable than their print counterparts, will be available on the site, and the catalogue will include some of the publisher’s bestsellers. The programme was launched at the SA Book Fair this weekend and the newest subscribers walked away with a free e-book.
