A book deal on what Penguin Random House calls “the most anticipated political biography in South Africa” was signed between the publishing house and the DA’s Helen Zille ( pictured) this week. The publisher says: “Penguin Random House is delighted and proud to publish what we believe will be one of the most important political autobiographies to be published in many years.” Twitter users started guessing what the memoir would be called soon after the announcement with titles like Mmusi Better Have Maimane, So You Think You Can Toyi-Toyi? and Code Name Phumzille making the rounds. The biography is only in its beginning stages and a publication date will be announced at a later stage.
