Watch out, the Outlawz are in town

CityPress - - Trending -

The streets of South Africa are being targeted by funnyman Tol A$$ Mo and his team of pranksters called the Outlawz.

Whether you’re a university student or strolling along the pier on Durban’s beachfront, beware of the Outlawz, who seem to pounce on their prey when they least expect it.

If you’ve watched Ashton Kutcher on the MTV show Punk’d, then you know what I’m talking about.

SA’s #YouGotGot is colourful, current and funny. There could be an evil clown hiding in the bushes waiting for you to finish your latenight studies or a red-headed woman could

PRANK MAN perch on your lap like it’s a comfy place to relax.

And celebrities aren’t safe either. Singer Bucie and Queen B Bonang Matheba were “got” when they auditioned to host the MTV Africa Music Awards with a fake teleprompter and a script that was unconventional, to say the least.

Matheba soldiered on as best as she could and got through most of it.

But the fiery Bucie wasn’t having any of it and stormed off in a confused tizz.

The reactions of the people getting pranked are priceless, and the editing and running commentary by Mo are masterful.

The Maboneng Precinct and Braamfontein are areas frequented by the show, so if you find yourself being sniffed at by a random passer-by or suddenly engaged in a rap battle, smile and look around for the cameras because you just got got. – Phumlani Sithebe Langa
