Sasol names new joint CEOs
Sasol has named two CEOs to take over leadership of the world’s biggest producer of liquid fuels from coal when David Constable steps down from the role.
Bongani Nqwababa and Stephen Russell Cornell will start as joint CEOs from July 1 2016, the beginning of Sasol’s next financial year.
Nqwababa, Sasol’s chief financial officer, will be replaced by Paul Victor, senior vice- president of financial control services.
Cornell is executive vice-president of international operations and a member of the company’s group executive committee.
“They have complementary skills, experience, qualifications and backgrounds, and together will form a formidable team to take this large and complex company to the next level of performance and success,” said Sasol chairperson Mandla Gantsho.
