helicopter pilot Omphile and his fiancée have decided to postpone their wedding until she has found work, but Omphile is still hoping to be married this year. He has enough money put aside for lobola, but is now working towards buying a home.
“I am really excited about buying an apartment in Gauteng this year,” says Omphile, who also wants to increase his monthly medium-term savings by setting up a debit order into a unit trust.
Omphile’s longer-term goal is to own a farm in North West.
“Omphile has some big financial goals this year and he will have to be really focused on sticking to his budget to achieve them,” says his financial adviser, Patience Mmethi.
