Heist e.tv (DStv chan­nel 194) Tues­day, 9.30pm E.tv is pre­mier­ing a badass new ac­tion drama. Heist, cre­ated by the peo­ple who brought you Matatiele, is in­spired by true events – the mys­te­ri­ous cash heist that took place at the Justin Bieber con­cert in 2013. Re­mem­ber that?

The story was filmed in var­i­ous parts of Alexandra and stars the likes of Say­it­sheni Mdaki, Jerry Mo­fo­keng and Solomon Twalo. “It is a very timely ex­plo­ration of the lengths and im­pact money has on our daily lives. Side by side, the drama se­ries also show­cases the sur­vival and ex­tremes peo­ple are will­ing to go through to im­prove their liveli­hood. It’s a story of re­silience,” says the chan­nel. The pro­gramme fo­cuses on the fic­tional Holby City Hos­pi­tal, par­tic­u­larly the staff and pa­tients of the hos­pi­tal’s ac­ci­dent and emer­gency depart­ment. Can­didly Ni­cole Vuzu Amp (DStv chan­nel 114), 6.30pm Ni­cole de­cides to move to Aus­tralia to find out which friends care about her the most, but the des­per­ate move in­vites an in­ter­ven­tion in­stead of a good­bye party.
