SA will miss out on Bey

Beyoncé will kick off her next world tour in April, but South Africa is not on her itinerary.

The diva announced that her Formation World Tour will kick off in April in Miami, with concerts scheduled around the US and Europe.

It’s been three weeks since she dropped her latest single, called Formation, but the singer still has many Americans all atwitter.

The powerful ballad – which calls attention to the #BlackLivesMatter movement in the US – has been received with mixed emotions and raised eyebrows from groups in the US, who are questioning whether her lyrics are “anti-police”, reports Us Weekly. The Formation World Tour, which consists of 40 dates, has already grossed $100 million (R1.6 billion) in ticket sales and is shaping up to be one of the biggest tours in 2016.
