Economic Freedom Fighters App Available for free, but only for Android, at the Google Play store Following the release of the DA’s official election app, which #Trending covered at the time, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) launched its own app last week and, after using it, there is potential for it to be a really useful bit of pre-election tech.

The app has 17 sections that offer the likes of a detailed explanation of the structure of the party, a full copy of the EFF’s election manifesto, a membership application portal, contact page, EFF events guide, media portal, and even some EFF Jazz Hour albums and podcasts.

By linking it to live status updates, both in-app and to the Twitter, Instagram and Facebook pages of the EFF, the app is able to create a powerful sense of community.

It makes it a lively virtual place for Freedom Fighters to congregate and share their stories.

There is a lot of room for improvement though. Most crucial is a ward finder, and one concerned user also asked that the app try to reduce its data consumption.

They could introduce a bit of fun too, like a land-finder game or something along those lines.
