Blesser’s bling

CityPress - - Voices -

When Parliament’s secretary Gengezi Mgidlana convened a meeting to address House staff, he must have expected that it would be tough going – he is, after all, deducting their salaries for their strike action last year.

But when he passed on belated good wishes for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day to staff members, he could not have expected that one of them would shout back: “Don’t forget the blessers.” This was in reference to his wife’s social-media account, where she gloats about their good life while referring to Mgidlana as “my blesser”.
