Pampered before teeing off
While golfers battled in the scorching sun on the golf course ahead of the 2016 edition of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, selected journalists and celebrities received a five-star pampering session at The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City in North West on Wednesday.
The special treat started on Tuesday when selected female guests booked in for the night at the hotel. The Nedbank Golf Challenge Style Affair, which forms part of the golf event, showcased the planned pampering for women who will be attending the event.
The guests were treated to free massages by Gatsby Spa, nail dos by Morgan Taylor and free fashion consultation by Dom Wolf.
While some celebrities were dazed by the healing hands of masseuses, others were served with mouth-watering canapés, sushi, beef and mashed potatoes. These were downed with the country’s best sparkling wines and cocktails.
Even the afternoon rains failed to dampen the spirits of the celebs – they let nothing spoil the mood and fun. Bubbly actress and businessperson Sophie Ndaba particularly seemed to enjoy herself.
Ndaba told City Press that she had been looking after her body by eating healthily and that she had “stopped drinking alcohol”.
Meanwhile, dancer, actress, model and TV presenter Lalla Hirayama, who showed off her sexy legs in petite black denim shorts and a navy off-theshoulder top, said: “I have been jogging and I’ve been off sugar for the past two weeks. It hasn’t been easy.”
Another celebrity at the event was TV presenter and model K Naomi Noinyane, who looked gorgeous in a high slit maxi dress.
Also spotted in the crowd was socialite and model Tshepi Vundla, who recently walked away with the Influencer and Socialite of the Year award at the Youth Influencer Awards. Talented singer Moneoa MosheshSowazi was also there.
Every woman at the event left feeling blissful, confident and blessed.
