If you could vote for SA’s president

Mmeme Tau Gauteng I think Cyril Ramaphosa is the right candidate. With his experience, he can take us where we have never been. Isaac Gauteng Ramaphosa and Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma will cause more divisions in the ANC, so I would opt for Jeff Radebe. He is a senior member of the government and of the ANC. He is well respected and a man of integrity. Jim Madire Gauteng My choice is Ramaphosa. He is fit to retrieve the country from the dungeon into which Jacob Zuma has thrown it. Freda Limpopo I would vote for Cyril Ramaphosa. He sounds like a unifier who sees what activities derail the ANC and is not afraid to speak his mind. He’s my man. Maxwell KwaZulu-Natal If the Constitution was different and we could directly vote for president, the field for candidates would be much wider. As things stand, no one in their right mind would vote for Zuma, but then again Cyril is already deputy president and de facto president. It is a moot point. Ephraim Rapuleng via SMS I would vote for Ramaphosa. He is experienced. Mashudu Gauteng Cyril Ramaphosa is capable of leading South Africa compared with Dlamini-Zuma. Ramaphosa is globally well known, financially settled, has a law degree, is impartial and is a unifying expert. Dlamini-Zuma failed African people as African Union (AU) leader. Most AU member states are fed up with Dlamini-Zuma and they are happy that she is leaving. I am pleased to say that after the announcement of Ramaphosa as the president of the ANC, the rand value will be one to one against the dollar. TG Manqola Eastern Cape Cyril Ramaphosa. He is a fine leader and a great thinker. A man without a hungry stomach. Nokuthula Mbebe Eastern Cape Cyril Ramaphosa must lead the nation. Cabanga Radebe KwaZulu-Natal I’d vote for Ramaphosa, since he’s a leader well versed in economics and this is the next phase of the revolution after obtaining political power. He led the working class through the National Union of Mineworkers, therefore he’s an organic working class leader who understands government business. Henry Nkosomzi Biko Northern Cape I would vote for Cyril Ramaphosa. He has the necessary experience and background in the organisation. He was one of the main people drafting the constitution. He would easily give direction. Economically, we are in a crisis. We need a person with a very clear understanding on matters of the economy. Hence Ramaphosa will be a very good president. He is humble, honest, down to earth and very approachable. You can just sense this from his community engagements. He is doing a lot to improve conditions in South Africa. Without favour, he has no scandals that are hanging around him.
