Bontle Masuku, (6), Grade 1, Refano Primary

CityPress - - News -

Bontle’s father, Manqoba, wanted his daughter to become a doctor, because she was good at mathematics. However, Bontle’s dream was to release all women in prison. Her dad never understood why. The dream was inspired by Mzansi Magic’s gripping local prison series Lockdown.

Her dad described her as an energetic child who had a strong personality and a happy soul with a sense of humour.

He says Bontle was also a great singer like her aunt. Her favourite song was Suzan by The Soil. A picture of her big smile will forever be in her father’s mind.
